Drainage air tests
Also known as a drain pressure test, it checks if pipes and drain runs are working correctly. To carry out the test, a section of the drain is sealed and air is pumped in to increase the pressure. The pressure of the section of the pipe being tested is monitored closely, and if the pressure readings changes, it indicates a problem.
Water drop tests
This is a comprehensive test which can assess an entire drainage system. It works by pumping water into an area of pipeline and then monitoring the loss of water.
CCTV tests
A small camera is inserted into the drains which captures footage that shows any cracks, blockages, displaced joints and signs of poor installation that need to be repaired.
