About us
ICE Cleaning provides specialist cleaning and restoration for homes, businesses and industrial sites. Our teams handle some of the hardest jobs there are, including:
- Biohazard and trauma scene cleaning
- Mould remediation
- Fire and flood restoration
- Oil and chemical spill response
ICE Drainage, our sister company, looks after drainage, septic tank and tanker work.
We are an emergency response business. People call us when something has gone badly wrong, so the first voice they hear matters.
The role
You will handle every inbound sales enquiry that comes into the business. You will turn calls, emails and live chats into booked jobs, and make sure each customer feels looked after from the first minute.
Because we respond to emergencies, the sales team works a rota that covers evenings and weekends.

What you will do
- Answer inbound calls, emails and live chats from new and existing customers
- Explain our services clearly and answer questions
- Understand what each customer needs and offer the right solution
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Work with the sales and marketing teams on ways to grow the business
- Hit and beat your sales targets
- Keep accurate records of every customer contact and sale in our CRM
- Keep up to date with the industry and what our competitors are doing
What you will need
- At least 3 years' experience in sales or customer service over the phone
- Experience in the specialist or commercial cleaning industry is a plus
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Good organisation and time management
- The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A proactive, results-focused attitude
- Knowledge of BigChange (JobWatch) CRM would be useful, but is not essential
