ICE SHIELD® has been tested and approved by Biodet, a UKAS-accredited commercial testing laboratory.
In 2021, we worked with Biodet at the University of Hertfordshire to determine the effectiveness of ICE SHIELD® in settings with low, medium and high levels of bacteria.
The laboratory used door handles to simulate a touchpoint and monitored the presence of harmful microorganisms over a 28-day period on them. Over 4 weeks, our ICE SHIELD® formula remained 100% effective at killing bacteria – even in busy settings with a high level of bacteria. Compared to a disinfectant, it also killed far more bacteria and provided much better, longer-lasting protection against it.
