ICE Cleaning Supports I-Recognise 2022

 On Friday 16th September, ICE Cleaning shared its appreciation for cleaning operatives across the globe by supporting the i-Recognise movement.

Supported by industry-leading organisations, including the BICSc (British Institute of Cleaning Science) and Tomorrow’s Cleaning, the i-Recognise movement celebrates the crucial work that cleaning technicians undertake around the world. 2022 marks the third year that i-Recognise has been promoted on an international scale, aiming to increase awareness of the importance of the cleaning sector.

The movement invited businesses and organisations across all sectors to share as much information about i-Recognise day on 16^th September as they can. This could be in the form of a simple ‘thank you’ message posted on social media channels to promote the ongoing contribution of cleaning operatives, or just communicating the message behind i-Recognise’s mission wherever possible. On their website, there are a number of downloadable resources available for businesses to demonstrate their support for the movement.

To spread awareness far and wide, participants can use the hashtag #iRecognise in their content. This allows communities across the world to ‘Recognise’ (Respect Every Cleaning Operative Giving Necessary Importance to Services and Environments) online.

ICE Cleaning is proud to celebrate the essential role their skilled cleaning operatives play in the Company’s business operations on this i-Recognise, with the hard work they undertake crucial in delivering excellent services.

The Company is known for its rapid response services, providing emergency treatments in as little as an hour for customers in need. In their role, ICE Cleaning’s technicians are often required to work through the night and deal with difficult situations. Having delivered over 20,000 cleans to domestic, industrial and commercial customers since being founded in 2017, ICE Cleaning has cemented its growth as a leader in the cleaning industry. None of this would be achievable without the support of its dedicated cleaning teams.

In September it was announced that ICE Cleaning expanded its partnership with West Ham United as its official cleaning contractor and as a sponsor for the Men’s team from the 2022-2023 season. During the pandemic, the Company’s operatives kept the Club’s facilities safe from Coronavirus, working hard to deliver excellent results. Going forward, the cleaning teams will continue to maintain a high standard of cleaning for visitors and staff using the facilities, ensuring the site is always fresh and hygienic. This includes completing daily cleaning and implementing a decontamination treatment called ICE SHIELD® every two weeks to thoroughly sanitise areas and protect against harmful bacteria and viruses.

As part of its ongoing mission to support all employees, ICE Cleaning recently introduced an EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) internally. This provides staff with support in a number of areas, including health and well-being. Staff will have access to the service through a helpline, app, or online portal. The focus of the initiative is to give professional advice and support to colleagues when they need it most.
