Experts have predicted these figures will only rise. In terms of physical health, most home offices do not meet the basic health and safety regulations set by government officials.

For example, your desk should be set up in such a way that your computer screen aligns with your eyesight, and your room should be well-ventilated with an average temperature of 22 degrees.

Managers across the country face the huge challenge of ensuring these requirements are met. Failure to adhere to the correct health and safety procedures can result in a fall in employee satisfaction and overall productivity.
